Well as the title suggests, what's the smallest fish you've bought been? Both in full grown size and age of the fish??

I'll kick things of with the smallest fish I've bought :) The smallest full sized fish I own is a little yellow banded possum wrasse. The little guy is a shy one and likes to come out into the open when he thinks no one is looking but generally hovers around the rocks if you get close.
Now the smallest (youngest) fish I've ever bought has to be my most recent addition! I had him sort of specially ordered (I know someone who works at the collector and told him he had to send some down to my lfs for me to buy!). This little guy is my new Copperband Butterflyfish! We all know how big these guys get over the years but this little one is only the size of your thumbnail! Absolutely tiny :D Not only is he the smallest I've ever come across but he's also one of the nicest and healthiest specimens of fish, not just coppebands, I've come across! With gorgeous full and strong colouration to match!
He spends his days cruising the tank and picking at the rocks as he's still a good two-four weeks awar from being big enough to eat prepared foods! He acts like he owns the tank already and isn't scared or timid at all, swimming right up to the glass and not darting away during the feeding frenzy of the other fish! All-in-all one heck of a happy healthy fish :) Enough talking here's some pics!

Let's here everyone else's stories and see some pics of cute little fish!

That copper band is freaking awesome. I would love to try another mine lasted a year. I think he survived on feather dusters in my 180. He always looked like he was eating frozen food. But one day he was stuck to a power head. Smallest fish I have is probably a snowflake clown. Tiny little thing I used to worrie he would get sucked down over flow but he is smart I suppose.

I bought a Royal Gramma as my first fish almost 3 1/2 years ago. He was a little less than 3/4" then and is pushing 3" now.

My smallest adult fish has to be my pink Clown Goby that has my nano tank to himself. He's less than an inch long after 2 years in there.

The clown goby in my profile pic. He was about 1/2" head to tail when I got him. I was actually worried to throw him in my 180. Figured he'd be a snack for my betta... But he took shelter in a spongode colony..

The smallest adult sized fish I ever bought was a yellow clown goby many years ago. The smallest young fish is one I didn't actually order, but got by mistake. In February I found a bag with a dime sized yellow belly blue tang. I wouldn't have known exactly what she was if the bag wasn't labeled as she had very little color. She sailed through QT and has grown to maybe 3/4 inches and quite fat. Her colors are starting to look like they should. She now resides in my 6' long tank and uses every inch if it's length.

This was after 30 days of QT just before I put her into the big tank.

1" orchid dottyback I'm pretty sure he got sucked up in to sump I never found him.

I guess I've purchased Catalina and clown gobies that are smaller or the same size

The smallest full grown adult fish that I have purchased was an 1" panda goby about ten years ago.

The smallest juvi fish that I have bought is a recent purchase of a nearly 2" black tang.

I also got this little guy before, and am thinking about getting him again for my little 10g AIO reef. Is he easy to be fed? Is he a jumper?

I've been strongly considering getting one or two of these.

So far he mostly scoots around on the bottom of the tank. Eats mysis like a madman. I wish they'd had a couple. He was the lone wolf.
