Since sending both my rabbitfish on holiday this has started to grow.
What is it? Will it be a nuisance if not controlled early?
What will eat it that won't grow huge?

It's one of the calurpa species, probably C. peltata. Calurpa has toxins to make it unpalatable for herbivores to eat so manual removal is really your only option. You might find this article interesting:

Do you have other herbivores in the tank like tangs? They typically like to eat it if the tang's mouth's are large enough to eat it :-)
