At this point My Purple Tang hasn’t eaten in over a week and is getting thin. I’m seriously thinking g about aborting copper to see if his appetite comes back. Thoughts ?
What is your copper at now? I wouldn’t abandon it but if you’re using cheleted copper you can lower it. 1.50 is therapeutic minimum
Yep, that's chelated copper, you could definitely try lowering to 1.5ppm.Sorry for the late reply.... my copper is at 2.29ppm, I’m using copper power.

I would lower it to 1.75ppm and see how that works.
**Update**
The purple tang has continued to not eat and is starting to get skinny. And my clown and the Purple tang still have spots. I really don’t know what it is.......
Is there any way to tube feed the tang ?
Have you lowered the copper? If so to what level?
Copper power, metroplex and Kanaplex. What meds are in the tank right now?
How is his eye doing? How long ago did you drop the copper down?
Yes.Refresh my memory, have you done a rally bath with these fish to try to get ahead of the infection?
Ok, will do. Again thank you everyone for all of your help!Definitely add in the furan-2 when you track it down, and keep us posted...
I’m going to tag @HotRocks and @4FordFamily to see if they have any other ideas.
Recap: Spots still showing after copper was well over therapeutic, but now recently brought down to 1.75. Has done multiple rounds of kanaplex, now has metroplex in the mix and will add furan-2 when it can be acquired.
Has done a freshwater dip but didn’t see flukes, and a rally bath. Tang has cloudy eyes and not eating.
