Yeah, ive been looking for the real thing for awhile, so the polyps collapse when you turn off the pumps?
It all depends? They aren’t very big at when you get them, id say mine are about a inch, inch and a half? They don’t really collapse when my pump are off.

I’ve order from her before and had some emails back and forth. Very helpful. WW is out of stock at the time. Shipping has actually gone down. Just curious if o see what your weeping willow looks like after a year.

I bought a weeping willow from Penny, but the polyps never got as long as I hoped. I've seen a few different types on LiveAquaria in their aquacultured section, but you'll pay out the nose.

How long have you had yours? I’ve had mine in about a year, I guess I thought the polyps would be longer also? I’ve read where it takes a while for them to grow though?

I need to see some pics people. I probably have about 5-6 different toadstools in the tank at the moment. I wish I could get a Jake Adams version.

I’ve had mine for over a year. And in my opinion it shouldn’t take the polyps longer to grow. I can’t think of a single soft coral where the polls are smaller on a frag than they are on the parent. You can see tiny frags of weeping willow on la with polyps 1.5-2 inches long. There may only be three of them but they’re long.

One of my smallest ones, it is at least an inch tall at full stretch. ;)

Have you seen the ones on LA? they are a speck, literally, and those tentacles are mega long. I met a person online who claimed to be the ones the LA ones came from. But I have no idea if it was true or not.

Not seen them, I was at my lfs here in England yesterday and they had a load of small kenya tree frags less than half the size that I would cut, it does make me wonder some times.

Here’s mine, he’s grown a lot over double the size of when I got it. The downside for me is when I upgraded my tank I went with the G5 Blue Radions. I had to turn the blue off. He still looks great under the blue to me anyway

I have two with tentacles about like that, they just don't seem long enough to me to be a true weeping willow. But maybe I'm wrong (wouldn't be the first or last time LOL).

I have a couple different varieties of toadstools. From what I can tell weeping willow has long skinny tentacles with small polyps on the end. Regular toadstool have the opposite but really depends on the species.

Here is mine, sort of a crummy photo. Sorry.

In between the gyre's so it is somewhat calm. Gets a lot of flow. Tentacles are an inch easy. It is a darker shade of green. Frag size was maybe a quarter when i got it. Seems to grow well nothing fast or slow - just moving along I guess. Nothing fancy.
