I have a standard 90 gallon tank. Tank is just chuck full of zoas, 2500+ heads at least. The light I have been using the last 7-8 months was a used light I bought. Its two t5's and a 150w MH. I have a figi, and a 420 t5s. I love the color when just they are on, but its just a little too dark. I THINK that my current MH blub is a 10K, but I'm not sure. I can't tell without tearing it apart and taking my canopy down.
My question is this. What does everyone recommend for which 150W MH bulb to get. I'm going with SPS brand I think, I can get the best deals on those. I really like the color on my zoas to pop, so which bulb should I go with? 10, 15, or 20k? Growth does matter, but how much does growth change from 10k to 20K
Anyone have a website that shows the difference in color of the light from a 10k, 15k, and a 20k from them?
