Hi All! I see there are a number of places to rent a par meter, but I don't know which one to rent!

Apogee 200, 210 or 510, the cost varies some, so which one should I rent?

Thanks!!!

In all honesty, any meter will be fine if rented from BRS. We don't need rocket science readings just approximates. What I do is record all lights heights and such and on the glass of the aquarium write in sharpie marker the readings all over the tank with lines. Then take a snapshot of the writing on the glass of the tank and lighter fluid will remove the marker later. Remember, you will need a meter each time you replace lights. Also, you need to take readings at 50% and 100% intensity. My setup for every light I purchase is approximately this. UV 100 (24/7 even with moonlight) Purple 80 Royal Blue 80 Other Blue 30 Cool white 25 Red 10 green 10

Thanks for your input.

Still wondering what differences there are between the meters.

The 5 series are much better and accurate with LEDs
