White patches on naso

these look different to me than when they are stressed and hiding. Fish has been in QT for about 2 weeks. Barely eating except for some brine. I've put in 2 doses of API general care.
What are these patches? Looks like it's on his skin.

No dip. I usually put all fish through general cure or prazi before beginning copper.

It’s always best to start with FWD. praziquantel causes the flukes to spasm and die. This can be painful and damaging to the fish in general. If flukes fall off into the bucket then move forward with treating.

I suggest conducting the dip and see if you’re still dealing with flukes or if it is something else entirely.

It could, combined with possible secondary bacterial infections. This is why I suggest the dip to rule out and properly diagnose.

Could possibly be HLLE but hard to tell by photos.

Is your fish displaying any strange behavior? How is your water quality and pentameter?

At the moment I think I'm going to go with HLLE. I put some cheap fluval carbon in my filter to remove any GC before I started copper treatment because the fish had lost his appetite. Seems like I just made the problem worse :(

I'm going to do a few big water changes to try to reset and get this guy eating.

Looks like bacterial infection as I stated previously. What is the state of his health, is he active and swimming or laying on the bottom? If he healthy enough, I'd conduct a FWD and make sure the water conditions are pristine. Make sure you the dip is done correctly with RODI water at the same PH and Temp as the QT. Have airstone or pump for proper water circulation. Wouldn't hurt to add ammonia reducer into the FWD.
