Ive been using waste away on the 4 day cycle so far, in my tank to try to get my junk off the rocks. Now I've got this white slime on my flasher wrasse and on the glass. I just put in some kanaplex and metaplex in my system today for disease. Is this a baterial bloom or some type of disease? Other fish are okay. I also ordered a new uv bulb, it's on its way, as it is old.i turned off the skimmer after adding the meds. Do I turn it back on and do a water change? Also I removed my bio pellets about a month ago as my system was reading zero nitrates which is impossible with the number of fish and coral in my system. My new clam is not liking the meds I just put in the tank

Specifically what junk? Cyanobacteria?
Is it possible to get an image?
How big is the tank and how old?

Cyno bacteria. The tank is 150 gallons and the tank is 5 years old

This is weird. Waste away is supposed to aid in getting rid of Cyano. I guess it's causing other issues with this fish. Its like a slime coat. I'll stop dosing it. Thanks Randy

Please post a pic or two under white lighting - no blue for best ID

When I got white slime, nothing worked. It was like the tank turned to jello.
