If you're prior military and qualify for their services, USAA is really good. I have EVERYTHING (banking, loans, insurances) with them. They specifically covered all my tank equipment and flood damage for $30 a year. Yep you read that right.

I bank with USAA but have insurance (car + home) through other companies. I have been thinking of getting a quote/switching to USAA for a while now but haven't done it. I think it's time I look into it. Thanks for the reminder!

I had Farmer's and they covered my $35,000+++ disaster. They were amazing with myself and my neighbors. They even covered hotels for my neighbors while repair work was done.
