hi, just want to confirm this. was sold to me as widowmaker. Is it? Lol and don't mind the cyano. low flow area and been feeding my fish too much....

It looks about the right shade of red. Mine came with a couple streaks of purple in it and as it's getting bigger it's developed a orangey spot now. It's hard to tell as a frag because because it looks like any other red chalice until the other colors develop. I'll try to get a pic of mine tonight. I'm a lousy photographer though

Most likely I would say it is. Mine has grown out really well and has 5 or 6 colors, I will post a pic later today.

Looks like it may be. The chalice originate with my friend Andrew (aharrow). If it has lineage to him, then it is. But it looks like it is taking on another color or two so it could be. Very hard to tell until it gets a bit larger (as was stated above).

I am not sure but I think you got that from me right? If you did then its definately the widowmaker, I bought my piece from Andrew directly when he first cut his colony. Some frags are solid red, some solid purple, depends where I can cut from when fragging it. More colors will develop as it grows.

Thanks everyone for the assist and NICE PICS!!! hey Nick, I have the one i got from you also. i know yours is legit fo sho. i got this from another reefer, along with a bunch of WWC lineaged stuff but I was so excited i didn't keep the bags/organize the frags in the main tank (of course the names were on the bags) LOL so now i have to ID everything.

Not sure where it originated from outside of Virginia, but it was picked up at a LFS here in Richmond. Not quite sure where the shop sources their LPS from to be honest. Gotta figure it came through CA at some point...lol.

good possibility it came from me then. I sold a Widowmaker around that size on the same exact looking plug to a guy in the bay area. What other chalices did you grab if you can remeber?

When I sold the widow I met a group of reefers at a LFS in the Bay and I brought quite a few nice pieces with me; but the only other one on that list is the BGM. Did the seller show you my pic of your widowmaker when he was trying to make the sale?
