I got a frag of a wild acro today from my LFS. there having a moving sale and im sorta close to the manager (i also sold 120$ of stock in about 30 min) so he let me take a few good chunks of this colony that no one seemed to interested in. where should i place it in the tank? i know my paramiters are supposed to be perfect and they are. alk 9.6 cal 415, mag 1350. how much lighting should they get? my tanks sitting at 78.5 deg. any other tips would be sweet! :xd: hoping they do well as they have a nice icy blue tint to the skin. the largest chunk is 2.5 in and the smallest is about 1/4 thanks!

Post pics!I think this one the same one I was looking at.Let me know when you frag.Im in line.

Its really just hit or mis with wild pieces. All of them were wild at some point,so we really just have to keep them happy and adjust our tank according to how they act.

Good luck

Lots of random flow seems to help some wild pieces.

Overall, I'm very gun shy about trying any wild pieces, just because of the poor survivability rate. Wish you the best luck, though!
