Will this chalace be ok?

I have a small piece of green chalace that is being encroched on by metallic green hairy mushrooms. Will the chalace be able to defend itself or will the mushroom smother it?

The chalace is a tiny piece that I chipped of on accident and glued to the rock, it's been fun to watch it slowly growing so I would like to save it if possible.

This is the parent chalace that the tiny bit came off of.

The mushrooms will undoubtedly eat it.

I don't see the chalice in the pic. One or the other will win. Some chalices can be quite deadly. You are probably better off moving one or the other if you can.

I think the best I can do right now is just keep an eye on it. I'll try to move the chalace if the shrooms gets any closer.
