I spent tons of time playing around on saltwater tank forums before finding reef to reef, but I could see right away the difference in the community. The reef to reef community immediately struck me as being knowledgeable, kind, and willing to help. For this reason I chose to make reef to reef my home forum. The forum has only fueled my love for the aquarium hobby. I find myself constantly researching through forums to see what others have done successfully and what proved to be a failure. With help from the reef to reef community, my tank rebuild went just as I hoped and the results are outstanding compared to my last build. Simply put, the community of reef to reef is unlike any other and I would recommend it to anyone involved in the hobby, whether they are a newcomer or a seasoned veteran.

The things that are awesome about this hobby, including the obvious, include the social and the educational. To be able to be always and forever learning and sharing set this hobby aside from all others. I've found no better place to fulfill this hobby's potential than on Reef2Reef. You can share your finds, learn from others mistakes to prevent your own and learn/share about this ever evolving passionate endeavor that is reef aquaria!

I've been a member of that big reef forum for years but never really posted much. I find reef2reef to be a friendly place without all the flamers and know-it-alls. I've improved my knowledge and my build. I've even made a friend or two in the last couple months. I appreciate reef2reef and I hope the community stays strong.

Here's my tank.

In this Hobby the #1 rule is to Research! and if you cant find the answers post a thread on R2R! People here are absolutely friendly and do not debate whether whose wrong and whose right. Before posting a thread you may have to undergo a few obstacles like creating an account here, but you can benefit with creating an account Like, Creating your own Tank thread https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/member-tanks/96596-bobssecrtsn-60g-cube-terrror.html , like What i did. Or you can ask any simple like, https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/general-invert-forum/111793-pistol-shrimp-spazzing-out.html . You can ask questions about your tank whether its a chemistry related to getting to much dog fur into your tank, everyone is here for you!

Btw this is my tank thread!

All persons in the hobby should join reef2reef because of the advice and help that is given from all offer the country. we all have different experiences and could share the information to that that are requesting it. it has given me a much better idea of the hobby and how to deal with fish coral and servicing my tank. and most importantly keeping a healthy thriving fun system!!!

I think new members should join reef2reef because of the sheet volume of users. A local club forum is great but you can't get the diversity.and speed of response that you get on reef2reef. Besides the number of users, they are very kind and knowledgeable on many aquarium aspects. I have had nothing but positive experiences here at reef2reef and I recommended it to all my saltwater friends.

I thank anyone that is looking to start a saltwater tank eather it be a reef tank or a FOWLR should join reef2reef forums. Its a great place to get help with any problems you might could have. The DIY is my favorite their are some great ideas on how to save money and make your tank even better for cheap. And theirs not much cheap in this hobby. But the advice is all ways free. I learn something every time I'm on the forums. And the contest are great here and fun to participate in. good luck everyone. And if I win everyone is invited to my funeral cause my wife will kill me when I set up another tank.
