SO my next tank project is wire management something I am not the best at.
so looking for what other reefers have use to keep all those dang wire from making a rats nest in the controller cabbie but still able to get to it if i/when I need to move things around.

I am leaning towards zip ties on pegboard to mount the power bricks and cord wrap then a magnetic door for all the gear.

what have you guys/gals have found to be the best for controlling the rats nets?

@techdef recommended this power brick solution which I also have setup and highly recommend.

3/4” MDF. Hangs the power bricks vertically and spaced so all the heat can dissipate. Also inherently creates drip loops.

I went the easy route and bought an Adaptive Reef controller board.

Can't snap a pic right now, but here's a video I watched before purchasing to check it out. He's using the cabinet, which is basically just the Adaptive Reef Board connected to a larger box for more storage room. Same deal though. You have to line up the screws based on the equipment you are mounting and ziptie the crap out of everything in back, but at least it's hidden and manageable.

velcro. zipties does a cleaner job, but is a mess when you need to take out one equipment for cleaning.
Agreed, velcro straps as you will inevitably have to pull some piece of equipment at some point

I would love to see a step by step process on this stuff anyone know where I could learn more about it. or the very lest see how they did there wire management inside the race way/punduit.

There isn't much to using raceways, just attach and run your wires through it. The top cover comes off for easy routing:

You can also use double-sided tape or even bits of velcro if you're sure about placement.

You can get the panduit with double sided tape on it for attachment. We use quite a bit of it a work with no issues.
