Need some help here. I am already running out of space in my sump. I had to move the live rock into my return section. I plan to add my kalk stirrer next to the algae reactor and drip into the return section since it’s the highest flow area. Now I’m a bit worried about killing all the bacteria and stuff on my live rock if I do that. Any suggestions?

I have been a massive slacker on posting updates here. WIll post a longer update in the next week or so to bring everyone up to speed on the last few months. Tank is doing well.

Will at least post a text updated here. Current system is below.
-7 dalua x4 and 2 72 inch dalua vitamini strips
-4 MP 40 along the back
-2 Panta Rhei ECM 42 pointed down the long way right at each other on random

Still running my red sea reefmat (will be trying to reduce the system down to just the skimmer)

Tank is currently running on ESV 2 part with Kalk on tropic marin pro salt. Switching to Modern Reef in the next few weeks so I have been slowing down on the Kalk a little bit each day and ramping up the 2 part to really dial in my tanks consumption to make the switch easier.

Had to pull out all euphyllia when I added the panta rhei due to too much flow. I will take some pictures this weekend and do my best to at least add a stock list of the fish currently in my tank. Coral is another story and I dont think I could list them all even if I tried but I will do my best to post more updates here.

Kalk reactor is pulled and now I’m ramping up on 2 part trying to keep up with consumption. All while doing interceptor today which will slow consumption down. Oh the balancing act of a reef tank under a year old!

A few noteworthy updates

-wife doesn’t like the “purple” look of the Dalua lights and finally convinced me to swap everything over to Radions. To be honest I think they are the best looking lights on the market but it’s not worth hearing about it every day. (Just placed the order today for 6 xr30 blue and 2-66” ai blade grows.)

- successfully got the tank off kalk albeit my alk is sitting pretty low at 7.25 right now despite almost doubling my 2 part dose over the last 48 hours.

-modern reef should be shipping my package out this week so that should be arriving soon.

In the next month I will be swapping out my lights and transitioning my main element supplementation. Wonder how many SPS I’ll lose along the ride. Fish list coming tomorrow. Pic of the current light system for me to look back on.
