I am looking for ideas to work from home as I would like to make some extra money.

I am unable to go back to work full time as I was put on disability in 2008 from a work accident and it left me with life long injuries.

I have physical limitations and a few other issues from all the injuries I have.

I was a hands on type of guy working in landscaping and construction when I had my accident .

I am on the computer a lot along with all the social media platforms but I'm not very computer savey so that is where I run into problems, as most real at home jobs are computer related.

Is there anything out there where you working promoting companies or doing behind the scenes style work that doesn't require being on the phone all the time?

I know I am reaching but with my ssdi I am allowed to make $1200 a month with out effecting it and with life's expenses getting more and more I want to get into something so I can help supplement my family's income

Bump

Just came across this hope it’s ok. Unless u ran across something.

I think medical coding or billing can be done at home. Maybe someone is online and in that area.

I’d say get some experience with computers by going to free sites on the web. Once you have a cert or two (a+, net+, security+, etc) you can get jobs working from home pretty easily. The info is out there and there are multiple sites that offer courses for free. Good luck to you in all your endeavors!

Consulting/sales in both your old fields. I agree with the above about getting to know computers, not to build but to use a couple of programs. Local Libraries offer classes with basic computer training. Once you get that down, take a couple of online courses through your local community collage. The classes are cheap and you disability my cover to costs.

Setup a website, websites are so simple to build now, with the online sites such as go daddy. I built a simple website in one hour, for my last site. I could not believe how simple it was.

Next start networking with old contacts.

find your clients

In my case such as mine. I need someone to open the doors while I am producing. If I am not producing I am sell. In between there, the is no money coming. I see this happen with quite a few companies that want to stay small. It is not a full time position it is very part time, but with time one can working when they want and how much they want to work for a couple of different clients. Someone out there open doors and setting solid appointments ;)

To add to jskers' comments, there's "affiliate programs" whereas you build a website that promotes certain products and you link your site to sellers and they pay you a commission on sales generated by your site. My girlfriend does this and has like half a dozen websites that promotes jewelry, dog stuff, etc... Do a web search on affiliate programs. (Petco, Amazon has them)

I don’t know about your work experience, but JetBlue is currently hiring for customer service reps. My sister in law is currently going through the process. If she gets it, it’s a work from home job. Apparently lots of travel benefits.
Edit: just checked, Orlando or Salt Lake City only and no positions at the moment, sorry.

LL Bean has a customer service/ ordering program from home. My neighbor did it. Decent money.
