Interesting. It might be a type of peanut worm or maybe even a cucumber.

I've seen a cucumber similar to this but it wasn't as skinny and long. Not sure.

First, it's obviously a filter feeder and therefore harmless. Definitely not a peanut worm or cucumber. I'd say it's a member of the Serpulidae family. The way it extends out and retracts is like the Echiura species. I'm still trying to narrow it down, but for now it's harmless and pretty cool.

First, I apologize to Squishie because she was on the right track with "sea cucumber". I think it is a leptosynapta. The order goes Holothuroidea (Class), Apodida (Order), Synaptidae(Family), Leptosynapta (Genus). So, it's a type of sea cucumber. Me thinking that it was retracting into a tube is what through me off.
