So, after my last wrasse. My sweet hubby knows I'm kind of an addict so he purchased and qt and added a "melanarus " wrassse to my dt as my early anniversary present. Sigh. After he was added I was very suspicious and you all are amazing btw and confirmed, this was a lunar. A gorgeous fish but in 24 hours of trying to catch him he killed my emerald crabs, ripped fins on my clown, killed 8 snails, and 4 hermits. Yikes. The bottle trick worked thank goodness. I thought I was going to have to pull apart my 180 gallon system. So, attached is a picture of what the store calls a Christmas wrasse. I have read and researched wrasse but in person ID and pictures are not the same. I need your expertise. I feel like it is not a Christmas but definitely haliochores, melanarus or biocellatus? Or? Something else entirely??? Thank you all. Happy Thanksgiving!
