There is very much still a need for a wrasse identification thread so here it is!

If you have a wrasse you want identified post a photo or two of it under white light, preferably with its fins open, and we’ll do our best to help you identify it.

Well, I’m going to go and say Thalassoma lunare or maybe Thalassoma grammaticum. The thing stopping me from saying Halichoeres rubricephalus is the body shape looks wrong to me. Also the speed it seems to swim in the photo seems too fast for even a fast swimming rubricehalus.

I See this one a lot but I can’t place it. Is it a juvenile Thalassoma?
