WTB sensor cover for AutoAqua smart ATO micro

Does anyone think they could make something that would protect the AutoAqua smart ATO micro’s sensor from snails getting on it? I don’t have a sump, so my sensor is in the DT.

Something akin to this:

I made one from a Travel size Dove Men’s spray deodorant cap for my XPAqua Duetto. Cost me 99¢ and it took about 2 minutes with a dremel. This ones just for light interference, but the cap is big enough that you could leave the bottom and drill holes to make it a snail guard.
