Only speaking of the LOA, which I know them personally, they simply do not know how to take pics and are doing the best they can with that. He I can guarantee has no intention on deceiving.
No worries. on the deviation. I understand what you are saying. I agree with there being a lot of shady vendors, Corn Bread is a great example. DK how he is still in business and able to sell for what he does. Aqua SD is also a chop shop. There are many bad characters in this hobby, but LOA is not one of them.

Aqua sd is a chop shop? They are, or used to be before the indo shut down, one of the best vendors for getting nice wild stuff. A ton of their frags are sold with a fully encrusted base, sometimes one will be kinda fresh but I would not call them a chop shop. Mr. coral was a chop shop, aqua sd not so much.
Why doesn’t loa sell on something other than facebook if their stuff is so nice? I would love to see what they offer but don’t have Facebook.

Your question regarding LOA would be a question for them to answer. SPS can take 1-2 months to show fairly good encrusting in a solid system, 2 weeks which is what most people give for a standard heal time before shipping can show encrusting as well. What, "reputable" vendors claim to do is give wild colonies 6 months to 1 year to acclimate to tank life and settle regarding coloration. How often does this happen, I would sadly say well less than we are lead to believe.

I definitely would double check with the seller, that looks far different from any Sun God I have seen. Looks like a whole different species, imo

I'm horrible with all the goofy names and such, but looked up the sun god in google images to see what it looks like. I wouldn't say it looks like a different species, I will say it looks a lot more like a shortcake. Still not a bad looking coral even if it is. Also a nice sized frag at that.
