im not sure if I’m over reacting or not but my yellow tang has what looks like to me din rot. He eats like a pig and there are no signs of illness or odd behavior. Below are pics of him/her, anyone care to chime in with their thoughts?

I don't see fin rot.

Tangs at times may have torn a fin. It happens. Flying though the rock work, displaying dominance or defense, fighting...... Their fins can get torn. It will heal back.

Your yellow looks very healthy.

Looks like a torn fin. My gem tang has this happen from time to time. You can feed Furan-2 + focus (once scoop each in tbs of frozen food with garlic guard) to help prevent any bacterial or infection issues.
