Idk why your fish always pose on these specific rocks perfectly for your photos all the time lolSo in the interest of fairness here are pure unedited photos of the new fish, Pyronotanthias flavoguttatus!

Maybe, I just think it would be a bit of a challenge to keep them alone, and he could turn aggressive later on if kept singlyYeah! Was it @i cant think that convinced me anthias do better on their own?
Well as it’s an anthias it’s much easier. It just sits in one spot mostly. Took like two minutes to get those photos.Idk why your fish always pose on these specific rocks perfectly for your photos all the time lol
It’s the same logic as chromis. Keep them in small groups and they bully each other to death. Kept alone they don’t.Maybe, I just think it would be a bit of a challenge to keep them alone, and he could turn aggressive later on if kept singly
That’s why its best larger groups like 8 or up, or less feisty AnthiasIt’s the same logic as chromis. Keep them in small groups and they bully each other to death

So two pieces of good news!
- The anthias has started eating I think. Its in the cave so its hard to tell but as its a deep water fish it getting acclimated was going to be slow so even a feeding response is great!
- The cyano is nowhere near as bad. I vacuumed up two little patches in the water change but it seems like its going away!
If I had everything? I'd need a bigger tank.If so, what did you do? (I forgot to ask this earlier)
Cyano fight. If I had everything? I'd need a bigger tank.
About 7.5 trillion kg of biomass in the oceans. The average density of fish is about 1000kg/m^3.
7.5x10^12/1000=7.5 billion m^3
Lets go with a cylindrical tank of equal radius and height:
(7.5x10^9/pi)^(1/3) = 1336.5m
Of course that wouldn't leave any space for water, rocks, sand etc but I think we'll have bigger issues. The stand would have to be quite tough for example.
Is that what you were asking?

I was asking about the cyano, Sam.
Wait. You weren’t joking when you went all geeky back there? Wow. Engineer nerd alert.Oh!!
You gave me engineering exam ptsd there![]()
Hey you were the one who just asked a question out of nowhere. No mention of cyano or even a 'reply'. And trust me 5 years out of college and I still get nightmares. Why it is my subconscious self decides to repeatedly skip an entire semester before stumbling to the exams I have no idea.Wait. You weren’t joking when you went all geeky back there? Wow. I’m kidding, of course. However, if the first thing your mind went to was the ”you can’t have everything; where would you put it” slogan (the word slogan looks like Slocke) , then I think we might have bigger problems.![]()
Hey, I got a C+ in C++ that way!Hey you were the one who just asked a question out of nowhere. No mention of cyano or even a 'reply'. And trust me 5 years out of college and I still get nightmares.
