Did all the work myself and used all the scrap materials I had on hand. If I had to guess total refurb cost me around 3,500. Not sure where you’re located but heat and humidity my biggest issues by far. A dehumidifier is an absolute necessity.

Hot and dry in summer then cold and dry in winter. Panhandle of Texas north of Amarillo. I’m going to see if I have issues with humidity before going with a dehumidifier. I’ve heard so many people talk about the heat they produce.

I’m in north east Louisiana, so I bet our weather isn’t drastically different. Dehumidifiers definitely produce heat and are electricity hogs... if I could get by without one I would. Summer isn’t so bad but even with all the insulation I have in the building if I don’t run a dehumidifier during the winter I literally have water dripping from the ceiling..

Drive 1 hour each way 3 trips, total 6 hours driving to get 120 gallons of RODI. Had to dump water and run back. Last trip 30 minutes before closing.
With a broken leg.

I'm way past that and in the hole with 5 ( that's right 5!!!) credit cards!

Well i have 5 credit cards but i spent them on other hobbies... Now i spend all my cash on my tabk and make min payments on my cards.. im terrible man.

Ive also borrowed money from my girlfriend.. promising id pay her back.. and when i got paid i spent it on more corals....

This is the one I have. At the time it was one of the highest rated on amazon. It has gone up a little since I bought it nearly a year ago. I paid 199.
