This weeks update is adding light. I had ordered a Reefi Uno, but they were running into shipment issues which is understandable given the pandemic. I made the decision to just go main stream for now and picked up a Radion G5 Pro.

Looks Really Good, I have a 600 on order also. Starting to order parts and was wondering how much space is there between the power management panel and the door ?

@cleeed You will love the tank. I have been super impressed so far. As far as the power management space, it looks like 2 1/4 inches from wall to edge of frame where the door touches and another half inch from frame to outside glass. For a total space of 2 and 3/4 inches

Awesome thanks for measuring it. I was looking at the Eco tech Battery back up which is 9" x 7" x 3.25"

Update from the last weekend:
I went to check out a newer Local fish store Reef Life Aquatics they have only been open for 6 months, but had a nice very clean frag setup.
I picked up two shrimp. 1 pistol shrimp and 1 cleaner shrimp

I also picked up my first couple of frags for the tank.
From left to right: Kryptonite trumpet, bam bam zoa, and green toadstool leather.
I am letting them acclimate to the light and will determine a home for them on the rocks.

So, maybe a first mistake. After adding the pistol shrimp, the yellow watchman goby paired up with him and I was thinking that was great. Then today it seems like the yellow watchman goby was kicked out of the hole and started swimming to the surface. I found him a minute ago stuck on the return grille. I touched him and he swam off. I am wondering if the pistol shrimp could have turned on him.

Edit - Yellow watchman goby is no more. :(

Great tank. Just keep it slow. Nothing quick happens in a reef tank. It needs to get established. Are you testing water parameters ?

Thanks for the feedback. Yep, testing parameters. The yellow watchman goby was out of quarantine and I am thinking maybe a bit fragile from the process. Adding the pistol shrimp was too quick to your point and I think it stressed him further. Learning and still enjoying the process.

Hey! how did you mount the RMS? Looks to me that the divider glass separating the drain and ato chambers in the back would be in the way....

The glass is there, but I was still able to mount the light in a good position. If you go Radion XR15, make sure to get the mounting kit for the XR30 that includes the longer arm plus the XR15 attachement. This allowed for good centering over the water including the width of the ATO.

The center of the light is 11 inches from the right hand side of the glass and 12.5 inches from the left hand side of the glass

I also 3d Printed a new cover for the back around the light this week:

But, you could cut the lid that the system comes with as well.
