I always do trades with John.. One of the best guy out there..

He Might do better with you. But I was bidding on an auction that he put up for 55.. The night before it ended he cancelled it. Then offered it to me at 70. and said he couldn't let it go for the 55. dollers he put on it. I don't classify that as a good guy. It is shady to me.

i have no problem saying i also think this guy is shady. he had allot of bad deals going down a year ago when he was just getting into the "business".

his 100% feedback is definitely not indicative of the experiences i've heard people having with him.

but for what its worth......he looks like he has come clean since those bad dealings....for the most part....i realize you can't please everyone.

.....but the saturation in his pics are a little over exagerated....

Just yesterday I received my second order from the same guy. Both times I have been very happy with everything I received. A few of the frags look a little different in his pics, but then again, he said in his ads he used 20K lighting and actinic supplementation. I am using T5 lights for now, so I understand there is some difference to be expected. My first order I ordered 7 frags from him. When I received my shipment, he had to substitute one of the frags I ordered due to some sort of problem. But he gave me two free frags to make up for it. This last time ordering I ordered 8 frags from him and everything was as stated. In both orders, when he said 5 polyps, I got between 8 - 12. When he said 10, i got between 12 & 20. At first I was concerened about having things shipped from southern Cali to my home in south Alabama because of the distance. But, everything was packed up nicely and arrived ok! Would definitely recommend!

oh mine didnt come from john but iv never had any bad dealings with him as of yet somtimes he gets a little better deal on trades but i know that going into it lol sometimes got to give a little to get what you want lol, sry you had bad dealings.All in all ben great to deal with.

the simple answer to this is no, we do not shut down threads just b/c someone has a negative experience with someone in which they wish to share with the rest of the community.

i'm sorry if these accounts may hurt your friends' business......but thats what happens when people are allowed to have free and open discussions without fear of a mod shutting it down b/c it addresses a sensitive topic.

these topics should be heard and discusssed openly in public without any fear of consequences as long as the conversations are kept civil.

No worries AL if you guys wish to leave it open its fine.. He is my friend and thats his business not mine... As long as he is good to me then I can recommend him to anyone ... If he screw me up, I will also be in this forum bashing him....

i'm more concerned about keeping discussion topics completely open and honest on this forum as long as its in a civil manner, without people subjected to personal attacks/accusations.

i know on RC, it feels like allot of topics are taboo......and people refrain from posting b/c they are afraid of getting banned. i dont want people to feel like that certain topics are taboo here.

granted, this thread got a little of topic........so i'll ask teeka, myself, and any others that wish to continue this subject, to keep this discussion in the vendor feedback forum.

I think what Pnoy was saying is that John cannot defend himself here so it should be stopped. This wasn't even a bashing thread to begin with, it was a question that turned into a bashing. I think that it is fine to post a dislike or a negative response you have about a transaction but I don't believe that it should be drug on and on and on.

I also don't believe that those personal emails should be posted on a public forum. I am pretty sure that John didn't give permission for those emails to go public.

This is just my opinion.

sad to see that a simple question about morph was let turn in to feedback replys. i think it is enough to delete the feedback posts. I m glad that there is no Taboo topics but lets do bashing on feedback forum. lets teeka open a thread like " check this dishonest zoafrags guy" or something. Just to make it fare. John trusted you man and honestly told you that he does not want to sell his zoa to someone and offered it to you.

I have dealt with John myself off eBay and had a very good experience but, I do find it t odd with the very point of an auction to have the product be pulled when there is a winning bidder and then end it before hand because it A.) might not sell for as much as one wants that's what a reserve price is for, or B. Somebody that you don't want to bid to win it. That to me is totally against the whole concept of what an auction site is for.....Either way I had a pleasant experience with John and can only go by that....
