I moved across the state and after setting up the upgraded tank, this one torch got very angry and bleached out. This was at the beginning of July. The torch is now fed four + times a week a mix of reef roids, mysis, fish caviar, etc..., I have also kept it on the sand bed under low light. No sign of coloration yet. It has ok extension, and that seems to be improving, but again, snow white.

I know that there have been Zooxanthellae transfers for anemones using a small bit of tentacle from another nem.
Do we know if this works for Torches/Hammers/Frogspawn? Would it have to be a torch tentacle or would one from a hammer or frogspawn work????
If it does, would the torch adopt the color of the donor? Mine was a nice indo gold and I'd like to see it again....

Any thoughts, experience, etc are appreciated!

Also if anyone is in Naples/Ft. Myers area willing to donate a tentacle and assist in this experiment feel free to message me here!!
