kalkwasser

Since my calcium reactor cant seem to keep up with my alkalinity needs, would it be feasible to dump some kalk into my saltwater container? I've implemented automatic water change of about 7500ml/day. Would there be issues like clogging the lines, burning up my DOS, screwing up the chemistry?

Provided there is enough kalkwasser in a stirrer, is the liquid in the kalk stirrer maintained at 100% saturation? If it is, does it matter the amount of kalkwasser you add to the stirrer? The slurry just reducing slowly as fresh RODI is added via the ATO until you need to add more Kalkwasser?

I am in the process of deciding which Kalk dosing method to use. I am leaning towards the Avast line of stirrers. From what I gather I can add a few teaspoons of Kalk and that should last me a few days, hopefully 1-2 weeks based on evaporation amount and Kalk added to stirrer. Id prefer this...
