Hoping it cleans the sand and keeps that in check.

Had some encrusting Montipora pieces from a friend that I was keeping and recovering, got to keep some small pieces for myself. In time they will colour up strong and encrust over the sections of scape..

Nothing much has changed, tank is ticking along with just normal routine maintenance..

A small equipment update.

The plan was to have a a hybrid lighting setup, so I added 2 more led bars and removed 2 T5s.

Now the tank is lit with 3 x led bars and 4 x T5s. I'm happy with the way its looking and hoping the sps on top don't show too much stress to the change in spectrum. The tank is a bit blue but il get used to it. I still have the covers to make for the lighting to hide the wiring etc

First FTS of 2022.

Tank seems to be handling the small light change well. Colours are popping like crazy. Time will tell if there's any stress.
