I'm actually a longtime member (joined when it was still Club-Zoa :nerd: ) but honestly haven't felt that I have a tank worthy of posting on here. After close to 6 years of reefing I think I'm finally at a point where I'm ready to share my slice of the reef.
I'm really looking forward to getting feedback, suggestions, a swift kick in the pants, and any other comments from all of the great members here.
This tank has now been up and running for around 10 months and I finally feel like it's hitting it's stride with some great growth. I'll be posting some shots from the initial setup and hopefully keep things lively with new pictures.

The Tank
The Equipment
The Concept
I have been reefing for close to 6 years now and I've always longed for a rimless tank. Although I've considered my past tanks each successful in their own way (each running at least 18 months), there are things that you learn with each tank that always make it to the "Next Tank Wish List." This is hopefully the tank that I will finally be able to implement all of those ideas. The overall idea is to build a simplistic yet colorful mixed reef; including some select SPS, top-notch Euphyllia and Acans, and hopefully some Zoanthids and Palys.
Coral
With my last tank (20H), I had a tank chock full of SPS with a select few LPS. Although I'm still an Acro-holic at heart, my plan for this tank is simplicity. It got to the point where I was chasing parameters, dosing twice a day, and generally keeping things clipped, trimmed, and away from each other. Some of my favorites will make their way into the tank while others, mainly Monti Caps will keep their nose out of this one to minimize coral creep.
Here's a list of the tanks current inhabitants.
SPS
LPS
Other
Zoas / Palys
One thing that I need help/suggestions for sure on is trying to capture the coloration that LEDs produce while not blowing out the highlights :squigglemouth:
