Ok, so the tank I'm cycling (getting back in the hobby, limited to ten gallons in this apartment) I decided to go with a par38 from coral compulsion. I got the 24 watt 20k. This is my first time using a non dimmable/programmable light. Tank is the IM fusion 10 and the goose neck gets the light just under 3" from the water line with the IM mesh top between. Any ideas on what kind of intensity this will provide? Also idea on light acclimation when the time comes, shorter photo period or is raising and lowering better? Will there be any coral that just can't be kept under this? I know I coulda just spent a few more bucks and had the extra options but I'm really trying my best to keep things extra simple this time.
