jim your tank is amazing, growth is phenominal

Thanks John! I've been taking alot of pictures lately (none too great) I'm planning a sorta tear down/re-aquascaping this spring/summer...

I've been having issues with corals blocking others of essential light in the past few months, I plan on hopefully taking all the corals out, and rearrange them. And while I'm at it try to do a little something with the rock... I've been taking some of the Euphyllias out... planning a little something with them also...

I like your setup. Can you please tell us little bit about your RO/DI storage and salt mix barrel setup. How it works.

Thanks!

Sure, The RO/DI system is an Ocean Reef +1 from The Filter Guys, with a few extras, I have a 5 micron Pre-filter, a booster pump (well water, low water pressure here!) it then goes through a 1 micron prefilter, and 2 MATRIKX CTO/2CARBON Block Filters. then to the 75 gpd membrane. Not pictured is an Anion Silica Cartridge, then to the DI cartridges.... Also is an auto flush valve, and 2 TDS meters.

From the filtration it drains into 2 55 gallon drums, where it is stored until needed. When I need to either mix up saltwater, or fill my top-off container, a switch is flipped, and RO/DI water is pumped up, over and down to the salt mixing barrel (the 'Brute' trashcan) using a Little giant pump. (as seen in middle picture) I can also just turn a valve without running the pump, and get some out if needed...

I usually try to keep at least 55 gallons of RO/DI on hand if needed, along with mixed up saltwater... Never know when you may need it!!
