Heres a quick fts with the blues on. Tested water today as well. Ammonia was between 0-.25. Nitrites and nitrates were 0. pH was 8.0. Temp has held steady at 79. As soon as i start to see diatoms ill get 2 or 3 snails.

Ok so quick update. On tuesday (12/15/15) i added a skunkback pseudo againgst my better judgement. The reason being is b/c someone at the lfs had put him in a tank with 2 other dottybacks, which shouldnt have been together in the first place. They were beating him pretty badly and starving him so they gave him to me 50% off. Their water quality is also worse than that of cycling tank so i figured what the heck. Well i didnt see him from time of purchase until yesterday morn. so i got some frozen and he came out to eat. Hes still very shy but im confident he'll come around!

Havent updated in a while. Unfortunately i lost my job bit have had a chance to add some stuff to the tank. I ordered a par38 a couple weeks ago and finally got a chance to put it on the tank. Also got a small cuc which consists of 2 ceriths, 2 nassarius snails, and a emerald crab. All seem to be doing very well, especially after lights went out. Eveyone came out and went to work on the little bit of diatoms i got going on. Im gonna give it a week or 2 before adding any corals, which will give me some time to figure out exactly what i want. Im thinking maybe some designer shrooms and zoas. Not sure yet. But i definitely think i would love to start with a 2 headed cinnamon polyp at the top of the bigger rock though. Something about those things i love lol. But any suggestions are much appreciated.

I put a small pump in mine to help with surface turbulence.
