Had tests done…your thoughts on these new valves? Not necessarily the valves themselves but maybe the actual test validity.

How’s your tank doing? Sounds like they think you need to dirty the water up a bit?
I’m not qualified to comment on the test validity. Following to learn more. I’m wanting to send off an ICP and this interests me.

Only one of the values is outside of there recommendations. I believe that value has a large component of no3 included in their desirable value and my no3 is extremely low and far below there recommendations. It is interesting.

Here are some pictures, I do think dirtier is desirable.

Beautiful, Looks great! I bet your coral and mangrove growth are driving those numbers down. My coral coverage is less than you and I’ve been amazed by the nutrient uptake of my system.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much, I would try dirtying the water with feeding and maybe ammonia or nitrate dosing and see if you think there’s a benefit.

Thanks and yes, corals and mangroves definitely using nutrients as evident by my Alk dosing at nearly 3dKh per day and mangrove growth. I feed the corals directly daily and vigorously clean the aquarium weekly, imo what I miss in cleaning gets used by the mangroves. I have a sun coral that grows without zooxanthellae and relies only on capturing food, so imo the tank has and receives adequate food.
