@AiKkz I just showed my contractor this picture who will make my metal stand and its costing 520.00 does this seems like its too much? Let me know. Thanks.Been a while since I've updated, finally got construction wrapping up and got the tank into its final resting place. Next step is to frame the wall around the tank making it an in wall tank visible by 2 sides (the front and left side).
Does the 520 include powder coating? The price depends on the material, my stand was 2”x2” tube steel and I upgraded it to 1/4” thick and mine was a little over 1k.@AiKkz I just showed my contractor this picture who will make my metal stand and its costing 520.00 does this seems like its too much? P.S my tank is a 180 marineland 72x24x24
1.5x1.5 will be plenty for a 180.. and honestly 520 sounds pretty reasonable to me! Just make sure everything is perfectly level before you pay@AiKkz I will quote what he told me
"Thanks for the pictures.
They are clear and show all needed details.
We can reproduce this one.
In 1.5" x 1.5" square tubular.
The reason: it has middle supports an the bottom serves as supports to keep everything nice and level.
We can fabricate this one with dimmentions you provided.
Price will change to $ 520.00 including gloss black paint after primer
All corners will be sealed off.
Which means that we will fabricate using mitter cuts , For a cleaner look."
I showed him your pics.
Thanks!! Any ideas on where you’re getting your tank?Definitely following! Sounds similar to what my builds going to be.
Thanks. Now I can look forward to this. I wanted to check in with you because I loved your stand.1.5x1.5 will be plenty for a 180.. and honestly 520 sounds pretty reasonable to me! Just make sure everything is perfectly level before you pay

The sump is from bashsea, I’ll snap some photos of it later!!@AiKkz I am going back over your thread here and i missed what type of sump you are using mind tossing a mention?
Don’t skimp on equipment, spend the money and get a back up return pump.. I’m in the process of trying to find a back up for my Abyzz but it’s hard to find anything that will push out 3k + with a 1 1/2 outlet.Definitely custom aquariums for the tank.. Problem is I can't make up my mind on all the other stuff lol. I'm trying to go through as many forums as I can so I can get reviews/experiences, which will hopefully make it easier for me to pick and choose what to get.

Lol it was so hard for me to slow down, I’m the type of person if I want something I want it “now”Just went through your thread, I'm impressed how neat and organized you are. I tend to rush things but after seeing how professional yours looks gives me a little motivation to slow things down
