40B question

This may seem like a stupid question BUT, here goes. Why do so many people use 40gal breeders? Is it because of the depth?

i like the dimensions.. i would change it a little but custom price vs 40 dollars.. ill take it

I like mine because of the dimensions, very easy to light and a much better alternative to other AIO nano tanks.
