Huge trimming this month.
Sometimes I think keeping an established sps tank is like walking on eggshells, it can crash in just anytime. All the colonies are touching each other. By fragging them, I can prevent the branches from contact, but now all of their base begin to grow into each other as well.
So far the fights are just minimal and locals between 2 neighbors, but one day if all of them decide to declare war at once, then nothing can stop the crash. [emoji15]

Anyway, I enjoy the beauty when I still can. [emoji6]

I tried to video the tank but big fail! I can say that I am comfortable with reef tank photography, but videography : whole different world!
I have good camera (D500) now compared to when I started this thread (D3200). I also have better knowledge, but still, I failed again trying to video the tank today. The video came out so ugly: dark, burn, gainy, wrong white balance...
I wish if anyone can teach me how to do reeftank videos! [emoji26]

Some colonies have been removed and replaced with smaller frags:

These 2 clownfishes are so cute together [emoji6]

Why the uglier acros always win the fight.[emoji848]
Funny that’s it doesn’t kill the other acros. Instead, it tries to grow over the other! [emoji28]

One of the corals I am not document too often. The color is not special, but I like the grow pattern. True table acro.

Bc Therman rainbow. The color is not stand out, but very special. I mean, how often you see a light purple_ish, grape_ish color like this!

Wow! It’s so sad that LEDs can’t grow corals though. (Sarcasm)

I never thought about corals fighting for space. It is a problem I’m not accustomed to :)

All I want to know is what that red montipora with silver blue polyps is! Lol I’ve seen it before, but nobody can ever seem to find a straight answer. I love it. Thinking about doing a bare bottom covered in montis, and how cool would a tank look with that monti covering the entire bottom pane of glass?!

Wow! Incredible! When the corals slowly grow together, you shouldn't have any one take over the other except in the case of Acro vs Monti (Monti always loses). Trimming them, however keeps the esthetics of your tank. I love your tank! BTW, my fox flame grows super slow too.
