When you paid a bunch of money for a no name corals just because you like how it look, not because how it named!
5 new additions! [emoji39]
Two here, 3 are on the way!

All I want to know is what that red montipora with silver blue polyps is! Lol I’ve seen it before, but nobody can ever seem to find a straight answer. I love it. Thinking about doing a bare bottom covered in montis, and how cool would a tank look with that monti covering the entire bottom pane of glass?!

And nobody will ever know the name of this monti. But names are just names, they are not real. What real is how the corals look!
I got one of the original colony from Two Guy coral and I still cannot find the name for it! [emoji28]

Wow! Incredible! When the corals slowly grow together, you shouldn't have any one take over the other except in the case of Acro vs Monti (Monti always loses). Trimming them, however keeps the esthetics of your tank. I love your tank! BTW, my fox flame grows super slow too.

Thanks. Actually they do take over one the other. Some rtn the others when touch, some grow over the others.
And when monti and acro touching, acros are not always win. In my tank montis win, unfortunately.[emoji53]

Search for frag tile. They will come up with the 3 and 4 inches.

Love it!!
Do you still have the high PAR levels or did you changed it by lowering the intensity?

I still have the same intensity. But these t5s need to be replaced soon.

Thanks for the suggestion on the frag tiles! Also check out the BRS video on t5 tubes unless you already have. It was pretty interesting on how they don’t lose as much intensity as one would think.

Mr V’s tank is ridiculous in person. Great color! Big colonies! And remarkable growth!

I did watch it a little, didn’t pay much attention though. I still stick with one year replacement since I believe that everything wear out by time. Better safe than sorry.[emoji4]

What do you shoot with? Those are amazing shots.
Thank you.
My pics are from Nikon D3200 and Nikon D500.
I am thinking about getting a micro lens.[emoji6]

Incredible colors in there! Do all your acros have crazy PE at night?
Yes. All of my acro have crazy polyps, at day time too. [emoji6]
But night time, they will show those big transparent polyps for feeding.
Imo, all healthy acro should show polyps at night even smooth-skin (hawskin, echinata,...). That’s why I usually check them at night when light out. Once I notice the acro, frag that doesn’t show polyps, that one is in trouble.
Polyps out at night is more important indicator for acro health than coloration.

Some frags coming last week. Still a little stress out from shipping.
These are not just normal acros. Some of them I have been dreaming for over the year. Thanks to a local buddy I have a chance to get my hand on those beauties ! [emoji7]
