Hey guys, new to the forum, not to reefing. Me and my wife are starting another reef tank. We just moved to a new house and had to take down our old 125 that had been up a few years. We will be restarting with a 60 gallon Marineland rimless cube.

Nice! Love the stand. Welcome to R2R!

Welcome to R2R and that’s a very nice tank and thanks for sharing!

Got everything setup and the wife didn’t like it in the room it was in. Tore down and moved it downstairs. All equipment up and running, added sand last night. Cycling with sea chem stability and microbactor7 as recommended by a friend. Haven’t used these products before so I’m not sure how I feel about doing it this way. Opinions?

One more Q, is it ok for the AI light mount to ride in the water? It sits about an inch below the water line.

Hey great build, I love what you did with the stand it really pops. Looks like you have a solid start going!

I'm starting a 60g cube build as well and plan on using the Skimz UP21 sump. Do you have any opinions on it yet or from others you know who use it?

Good start on your tank so far!

Thanks-
