is there a break in period where the media has to get saturated, then the daily addition wouldnt be needed? i know nothing about the scrubbers. but it would make sense that constant air flow through or over water would cause increased evaporation.

water is already dried from the co2 scrubber. so... what was the point. Definitely not adding water daily to it. lol

I think you need more water. If I remember it needed to be rodi and like 4 tbsp. There's a video somewhere that shows how to set them up.

Roger I saw a mixed bag of results on set up. 1 tsp to 1 tbsp.

4 tbsp seems like it would make way more sense

Upped dosing regimen, and refilled dosers

Pulled macro out of sump and reset

Corals all looking quite pleased at the cloud I made . Lights on for a few hours in fuge. Dinos swept off and we go again tomorrow.

Uhh.... It's been in the bowl for a couple hours. Could ship it. Or wait till next time and get it to you. It grows quick.

I'm interested in how to ship it successfully. Need to look into it

Shipping is easy.

Place macro in a bag o water. Place in an insulated shipping container and BaM!

Mushroom same things.


The key is making sure the bags are sealed. Or use pee cups with styrofoam that you instead the plug into.

Zoanthids uses these cups

Double bag things.

If you use heat packs make sure you put holes in the cooler for air circulation

I do overnight for corals. I think two day would be ok from zoas….maybe some shrooms?? Plenty of vendors pack for 2 day but ship overnight

Use pirate ship or finiship to get better prices on shipping

But be warned shipping prices went up

Macro just in bags,enough water to keep it wet, double/triple bag it, 2 day would be fine ,even with the mushrooms... ;) :)
