Hey all, check-in .

Holes have been drilled for the overflow. Next thing on the list is planning plumbing. Anyone know if a 2inch bulkhead would be fine for an overflow?

Could use the same holesaw if so. Will post in a minute once dry the overflow dry install

Over flow depends on how much water you will be moving. Maybe 1000 gallons per hr is fine but you can look it up. If you pump more than a 2' hole can handle you will overflow. Use a valve on the supply water side and you can slow it down if you have to

Oh, they're at Ms. Betty's on Thursdays anyway more than a 2' hole can handle you will overflow. Use a valve on the supply water side and you can slow it down if you have to

Background to catch medics up

I did add anthias , chromis , damsels 20 days ago. Not presenting signs. (Dipped in prazi pro for a few hours bath before addition) I usually don't qt.

Were at shop for 2 weeks prior.

I run uv 24/7 as well as an oxydator. Which recently ran out of h202. Has been refilled.

Admittedly I was on vacation for 7 days so nori feeding was limited as well as frozen.

@Jay Hemdal mind taking a look ?

Given the species involved, I could say it has ich and be correct about 99.9% of the time, even without seeing a picture (grin).

Seriously though - some of the spots are too large and too deeply seated to be just ich, there are likely mucus plugs involved as well. Ich can cause these as well as other stressors. Some of the smaller spots look like ich. The spots on the fins also indicate ich, as mucus plugs are usually seen on the body only.

And treatment for those is diet and orp/water quality
