Phos down to 0.3, plateau
Nitrates down to 20 after switching skimmer to wetter.

Things look better going to keep hitting gfo till I hit 0.2 again.

Looking for a chaoti wrasse . None for a reasonable price I found.

Got a copperband again who's promising..not eating prepared but hunting rocks and been here a week now. Alert.

Achilles hated him... Better now

Too funny that you posted today as I was planning on asking if the tank had gone defunct because it had been a month since the last update.

Good luck with finding Chaoti Leopard!

Well I really should test more often....is calcium at 200 even possible lol

I still have a fully functioning reef tank.

Confirmed with hannah at 200, salifert as well.

Hey @Randy Holmes-Farley hope you are well. I have a question for you, like many others do. haha

I've been reading this morning and seeing your suggestion for Tropic marine K and Tropic marine A elements for dosing. I have used these in the past per your recommendation. A question that came to mind. Is it worth creating these supplements DIY? Looking for a broad coverage of the important ones rather than the individual recipes.

My gut is saying you've done the math and its just easier and cost effective to buy K + A

My reef has thanked you many times, this is another one of those times.... i know its very deficient with no water changes in many of the major elements, yet things survive. Some macro species do dwindle, Gorgs shed. Many things are way more resilient than we give them credit for.

Cleaned some glass.

Knocked almost every hammer colony down. Spent 35 mins cursing and super glue on my hands trying to fit the puzzle back together.

There has to be a better mounting solution for these top heavy things that grow from a single head to 50 heads.

Any ideas welcome. Thinking about 3d print options etc.

Ive used epoxy in the past. Build a nice flattish ball on the end of the skeleton so you can glue it to your rock or wedge it in a crevice
I tried with the two fishes product and super glue.

It can't be rocket science but man 35 mins in I was huffin puffin cursing mad.

Lol same I was ready to throw everything but 2 lil fishies epoxy seams to me like it takes forever to harden underwater

Super glue gel ,dollar tree 2pk 1.50$ ,buy all they have, close the hammers and torches best you can first
gather your rubble let dry for a few min, find a crease /hole in rubble rock ,dab both dry with paper towels
big blob of glue, hold torch upside down ,place rock /blob of glue on top of it and hold a till firm ,then turn
upright ,let slime/water run over glue blob till solid, dip in Saltwater ,still firm then place back in tank.
gonna take a few mins per piece .
