It’s been a minute since I’ve shared any updates…

Had a tank crash late last year that wiped out all of my LPS. Decided to just stick with softies, nems, and zoas after that, since they’re so hardy and love my tank, until I’ve got more time to devote to testing and maintenance.

Most of my fish are doing great. Lost my mandarin last year, due to all of the other fish being such aggressive eaters. My trio of tangs (yellow, purple, and white-tailed bristletooth) are all coexisting beautifully. My theory that a trio would do better than two so they can spread out their aggression has worked out amazingly well.

Checking in with a tank update video! Recent changes include sending my purple tang to a friend’s 125… He was just getting a little bit too big for comfort in my tank…and got a baby tomini to take his place. My social fairy wrasse jumped out when I was doing maintenance, and I didn’t discover him till the next day…got an orange back fairy wrasse to take his place. Flame angel died of old age…he had been in my tank for about 3 years, and was a mature adult when I got him. Everyone else is doing well and getting along great!
