Since posting in other threads about this algae it seems to be dinoflagellates. Since I know it is a losing battle and the tank being so young the best thing for me to do
is take the tank down and start over or sell off what I can.

I turned the light off now for 2 days and took the GFO offline along with stopping the daily water changes and it has went nuts growing even better than before like insane growth. I will get pictures...........@Manose
I would check to see if they respond to UV. Then decide what to do.
UV sterilizer. Not UV in the lights.I turned the light off now for 2 days and took the GFO offline along with stopping the daily water changes and it has went nuts growing even better than before like insane growth. I will get pictures...........
Yes I understood it is that I shut down the lights any way as I have to buy a uv steralizer.UV sterilizer. Not UV in the lights.
UV sterilizer really worked for me. Now that the UV sterilizer is almost a year old I can tell it's time to replace the bulb as some dinos are creeping up in places.Yes I understood it is that I shut down the lights any way as I have to buy a uv steralizer.
and here are more pics

Go to the group buy thread here:Curious where you got youe noopsyche lights and at what price. I am having a hard time finding them.
I think it could have been the chaeto as it was from a person here on R2R.What have you added that could have infected the tank with Dinos? I do not see any corals, unless the cheato was not clean.
How about that live sand at the bottom??What have you added that could have infected the tank with Dinos? I do not see any corals, unless the cheato was not clean.
That was not live sand it was dry. Dinos are everywhere and as you know only take advantage of certain water condition like mine. The real important thing now is to identify what dinos they are and if they are dinos in the first place. How about that live sand at the bottom??
How does one even prevent exposure to dinos, they are literally everywhere. It's like saying I stay inside to avoid allergies.
I was reading and a guy here has the same Dino that I do https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/i...cated-dinoflagellates-overnight.316126/page-2
