Acan feeding?

Can anyone tell me if this is the Acan sending out feeding tentacles. First Acan I’ve owned.

Does the front polyp look ok to you?

Front polyp could be a new polyp growing.
Definitely feeders though , that's a good thing. I've found Acans are the easiest LPS in my tank. Nice colony!

The front polyp is dying. It looks like it might’ve been a dead polyp that’s coming back. If that’s not the case it was probably bumped and receded a little bit. The rest of the colony looks great and I wouldn’t be worried. Yes, those are feeder tentacles. Give it some meat like frozen mysis!

I wouldnt count that head out just yet. I had a head that was cut in half and receding and it wound up growing back eventually.

Yup. Like I said, it’s probably coming back. If the rest of the colony is that happy, that one head is going to be extremely resilient.
