Hi all,

My Acan seems to not want to expand/puff up on the top, but the sides seem fine. And during feeding I see the little feelers come out even on the polyps on top.

Could the top polyps feel smooshed? I'm thinking like because the side polyps are hitting substrate they are all getting crowded.

As you can tell, even with a 1 1/2 years in, I'm still learning.

I guess my follow-up question, should I raise my Acan higher off the substrate to allow the polyps to expand further.

Thanks everyone!
J.

I got a little smooshed myself yesterday celebrating the 4th. From what I can see this morning your acan feels better than I do.
:)

I recently watched a video on acans and the narrator stated that whenever he notices his acans not fully extended it's a clear indication of rising phosphates.
Something to check.

Thank you! I'll do a full test this week.

Cheers!
