I just went from a 4 bulb t5/ho lighting system to a led system. How do i go about getting everything used to the new light in the tank? Do i run it less amount of time through out the day? Less intensity and slowly increase it? Thanks.

Less intensity and slowly increase it?
Yup!!
Lux meter will help with that. App or $15 meter from Amazon. Meter the t5 ,Match the intensity and drop it by 30% IMO. ramp up from there. you should be able to match the old intensity over the next couple weeks. watch the corals. Youll likely be able to keep going. Watch the corals. AND GO SLOW.

Ok thanks. How do I know when to stop with the intensity. I doubt it will be to high do to my tank is only 16in deep.
