acolotto's 5 gallon build

I got a 5 gallon nano with a hob filter that has cheato and rock rubble that has been cycled for about three months now and yet nothing in it besides some rocks. I will post some pics later today or tomorrow of the aquascape. I plan on filling the tank up with acans, favias and zoas. Most of the stuff will come from frags from my 55 and from local reefers in the vegas area. Tag along to see the creation of my mini reef.

Alright so added my first things today. I picked up a couple emerald crabs and am acan frag from my lfs for $40 today as well as I fragged a polyp off my rasta colony to put in as well I'm assuming $10 for it so I'm at $50 so far and $450 to go! The plan is to do a mixed reef with some zoas, acans, chalices, and a few acros and only the emerald crabs and a couple snails...here are some pics of the progress will add more as I go

Also so everyone knows I'm running a ecoexotic par38 21000k bulb on this tank for lighting

So far so good! I have since added 3 sticks and 4 more acans...the sticks I got from a local reefer from a local Facebook group for $40, and two acans I took from my 55 mixed reef, and the other I bought from unique corals at a local frag swap for $20 it's a iron man acan that I got a killer deal on because it was a half a head it was in my 55 but moved it to the 5 about a week ago, and the last acan I picked up from another local lfs...I'll post pictures of each coral with price

Acan from my 55 now this was about a 10 head colony of a bright orange acan but a peppermint got to it and killed 8 heads overnight (all peppermints have been removed lol) so for price idk id say $20 let me know if you guys think that's reasonable or not

I plan on only adding additional acans and maybe a couple more zoas for the rest of my spending limit. I believe I'm at $190 right now so still got a ton of stuff to add (mostly some more rainbow acans [emoji3]). Also everything that will be going in this tank is all bought locally and most will be from my 55 mixed reef and local reefers, in doing this I'm not relying on fresh picked corals from the ocean and will be using only captive grown coral grown by local reefers, and as well as showing off some of the great stuff that the reefing community of Vegas keeps
