Hey just curious would anyone be interested in a Fish Feeder Ring/Box for their Neptune Systems AFS? I had an issue regarding floating pellets being directly sucked into my overflow box before they made their tasty way into the water column and to my fishes mouths. This is the first very rough pre-production model you could say but it works great all the food is contained and is given a chance to sink into the water column and even better if placed above a power head for quick dispersion.

Version two will be posted tomorrow(Saturday) or Sunday. Which will include a small grated section for frozen foods to dissolve and release into the water column making there way into your fishes tummy’s. Will be produced in clear material and come pretapped with 1/4” nylon bolts. All you need to do is drill two 1/4” holes into the mount of your AFS feeder. Will include a paper guide to lay out your center marks for ease of drilling the holes in the right location. Thanks.

Will upload video as soon as I figure out how to do it.

@infinite0180 I will definitely let you know I had to get rid of the round edges on the bottom as the first print wasn't holding well onto the printing surface restarting right now will take a few hours, for now you can PM your zip so I can get a price going on shipping costs

Hey guys so I printed three but I need to space out the holes a quarter inch for them to be perfect but here’s a picture of the one I went ahead an installed anyways. I’ll take daylight pics tomorrow. This is on a Red Sea Reefer 170. I’ll included a hard paper card with two holes for you to mark you centerlines/holes on your AFS feeder mount and from there you can decide how low or how high you want your feeder to sit into the water. You will need to drill your Neptune AFS Feeder mount so drill index is necessary/recommended preferably a 5/16 drill bit. The feeder itself will come with pre tapped 1/4” x 20 thread and two nylon screws. I can make these smaller if wanted/necessary or deeper. Excellent disbursement of food especially when placed above/around an active powerhead schedule your feeder to feed and have your pumps shut off 30sec-1min after if you normally shut down for feedings.

I'm in can you make the mounting tab longer? Allowing my feeders to sit higher up? I have about 4" from from where my feeder sits to my water. I would take 2 of them if you can. If you cannot make then longer I will still take 2 of them and adapt
