The problem is that if the power goes out when it is restored one of the lights comes on 100%. This is bad when I am out of town and I caught it today thank God for the Reef Camera I set up. I normally run the lights at around 50% but one was blasting 100%. Power went out at like 8pm last night and then the power came on at like 2am. When it did the one light came on 100% and ran all night/morning and I found it this morning. It's like it ignored the controller and then to get it back in order I have to unplug the controller and plug it right back in.

Any ideas?

I had something like that happen when i overrode the controller and powered the outlet off on my acjr, the lights were not all in sync and none were responding to the controller.

They need to have a better handshake or a way to program a fallback intensity, for those of us that do not run at 100%; we could have major losses if this happens and goes for a day without notice... :O
I don't like this b/c it's harder to tell via cam how bright they are set too b/c of exposure correction and my tank is going to be without me for a week here coming up here soon. :O

Exactly! It was like that last night because it got dark in the house as the sun went down and the exposure on the camera was blown out so it looked like they were on full power.

Funny thing I just looked at my camera and one of the lights was on very bright when it should not have been on. ARGG!!!! As I was watching it turned off and then a few minutes later when the lights were supposed to come on they did and at a low level like they were supposed too.

I had the same issues with the AI controller, so I switched to the Apex VDM, it always go back to where it left off.
Because the programming behind it, helps it reconfigure and remember what it was suppose to do.
I find it totally convenience, but the lightening storm feature isn't the best, compared to the AI Controller.
You may want to look into a different controller. You can use both controllers, but with the multiple problems I had with rolling blackouts here, I rather not take any chances.
